Terms and Conditions

General

By hiring from MW Rentals , you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Please review prior to hiring. 

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in financial penalties and/ or loss of bond (if applicable).

The individual who books an item and whose details are provided is responsible for the item for the entire hire duration.

MW Rentals may disclose personal information of clients who do not adhere to these terms and conditions.

Try-ons

To request a try-on, please DM on Instagram, stating:

  • The item/s you would like to try on
  • Intended hire date
  • Your location

Try-ons are most welcome for those located in Bendigo or surrounding areas. Unfortunately, at this time, postage try-ons are not available.

Try-ons are available on a pickup, take-home and return same-day basis.

No payment is required for local try-ons, but an address and phone number may need to be provided as a part of the Hire Form.

Try-ons or enquiries do not ensure hire booking unless payment is received.

Pick-up and drop-off addresses will be communicated to you upon booking.

Failure to return items within the agreed time frame may result in financial penalties.

Bookings

To book a hire, DM @mw.rentals on Instagram, listing:

  • The item you would like to hire
  • Hire date
  • Your location

Upon booking, any costs will be communicated to you and evidence of payment must be provided within the agreed time frame to secure your booking. Photo ID may also be required for security purposes.

Please note that bookings may be cancelled due to item damages from preceding hires. In this case, full refund will be provided.

The preferred payment method is bank transfer, however, cash is also accepted. Payment details will be communicated to you.

Change of mind refunds may be issued but this may depend on the date and item of the paid hire. You are not guaranteed a full refund.

A bond may be charged but this is based on the discretion of MW Rentals. Bond amounts will be communicated to you upon booking. If no damages occur, bonds will be refunded once all repairs and dry cleaning are completed.

Pick-up, drop-off or postage addresses will be communicated to you upon booking. Please leave items where instructed, away from clear public eye.

Failure to return items after hire within agreed time frame may result in financial penalties.

Postage

Postage issues are outside the control of MW Rentals and missing/ delayed parcels will not entitle you to a full refund. You may receive a partial refund on your hire, however, this is based upon the discretion of MW Rentals.

As part of your hire, it will be communicated to you when the item will be posted to you. Items must be returned with the provided express post satchel by the date agreed on.

If the incorrect address is provided, no refund will be issued and it is your responsibility to retrieve and return dress.

Failure to post items within agreed time frame may result in financial penalties.

Cleaning & Damages

Any damage to items, including but not limited to, stains, pulls, rips and alterations may result in financial penalties.

This may include some or all of the bond (if applicable) being used to repair the item and therefore not be refunded to you.

If repair costs exceed the bond amount or if no bond was charged, an additional payment is required from you to cover the repair costs. A receipt will be provided to you to evidence the cost of repair.

If the item is unfixable and the quality of the item deems it unrentable, you are required to pay an additional fee on top of your hire payment to amount to the purchase price of the dress.

Please do not attempt to clean an item. Please return items uncleaned to prevent damages. Cleaning fees may be charged regardless.
